Say hello to Kitty!

A little bit startled, I think.

I have wanted a cat for years, but circumstances and my own indecisiveness have prevented it. Well, no longer. I'm picking her up on Valentine's day. :D

Currently nameless. Her mum's name is Lingon (lingonberry), and I'm leaning towards Smultron (wild strawberry), Hallon (raspberry) or possibly Ginny. Thoughts and opinions?

Going to watch the last ever episode of Stargate Atlantis now. I should be sad, but (1) cat! and (2) this season has sucked.

Oh my, are her eyes really that blue?

I like Smultron, too, but I think Hallon is probably easier if you need to shout at her ;) I like the berry theme, though :)

Yes. Very blue indeed. :) I don't think they'll stay that way, though - IIRC they're usually (always?) born with blue eyes and not until they're a year or so, their true eye colour is fully... there.

Yeah, and I've always planned that if I got a brownish coloured cat I'd name her Teyla (Stargate Atlantis) and if I got a reddish one, I'd name her Ginny.

What pretty blue eyes!! I'm leaning towards Ginny as a name, since Smultron sounds like the name of a Transformer or something from Voltron...definitely a boy's name. :)

As for Atlantis, I gave up on this season nearly 4 episodes into it. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks it sucked. I'll have to check out what I missed later on.

There were a few eps that I thought were decent, and even fewer that I liked, but I can't think of a single one that I actually loved. In any case, "a few decent eps" is no where near good enough.

As for SGA, you can watch the finale for completeness, but it's not outstanding. I'm ending my personal canon with "Vegas" until such time as any movies appear. (Actually, I'd end it with "Search & Rescue" but there are a total of four episodes I did actively like this season, so.)

I kind of liked the finale, in that way that I would have liked for real, hadn't it felt so incredibly rushed and crammed together. Also, I'm usually pretty good at suspending my disbelief, but... Atlantis landing on Earth and no one noticing? Come on! And... well, a few other things. :p
